I would not think of my friends like that… and even if Bonnie was into the ladies, I would certainly not be her first choice… She hates my fashion style, she hates my work and resents me for eclipsing her talent… and taking her role as cheer captain… She sank her head a little bit until her upper lip was barely submerged and started blowing small bubbles under the surface of the water. Kim had no reason for not dating women, she didn’t know anything about having a girlfriend, she just knew how to be one. She knew that women could be caring, loving individuals, except maybe for Bonnie, but that was just the problem. I’ll get her to notice that I can be what she wants me to be. I give her a little praise for her efforts… Sure I’d have to straighten up a bit, fix my hair, paint my nails, I’ll even wear what she wants me to. I’ll get her to notice me, maybe get her to not hate me. That’s step 1. maybe then. It can’t hurt to try. a weight lifted off of her mind as she resolved to get Bonnie’s attention. she soaked in the tub, playing with her hair for a few minutes. When she finished and dried off, It was 6:21, she wrapped a towel around her chest, went to her room, sat down and painted her fingernails a sparkly soft green, closely resembling her eyes, she thought to herself.
